Camp Up with People (CUWP) is a summer youth development program in Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA that brings together diverse students ages 13 to 18 and utilize the performing arts as a tool to equip young people with life skills to effect positive change in their lives, communities and ultimately the world. CUWP is built on 5 pillars that define our program,

Diversity – Our staff, and campers proudly represent the many countries, cultures, beliefs, orientations, and ethnicities of the world. At Camp Up with People, we strive to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion.

Volunteerism – Our curriculum introduces our campers to ethical volunteerism. Creating a responsibility and understanding of civic duty in their community. While offering a certificate of service for needed high school credit.

Adventure/Regional activities – The CUWP experience is heightened by the adrenaline rush found in the many activities challenging camper to step out of their comfort zones such as, team building high and low ropes courses, Zip-lining, Mountain climbing, and even regional including our weekend visit to the historic nation’s capital.

Global Citizenship – Designed to support the efforts of the United Nations and their Sustainable Development Goals. Our curriculum is created to provide young people with global awareness, and tools to be an active part of betterment.

Arts – Using the performing arts and the many artistic talents of our campers we produce a full-scale musical extravaganza intended to raise awareness of global challenges. Our capstone performance provides a platform of humor, joy, passion, and civility in which we unpack controversial subjects.

Summer Camp Sessions and Fees

Camp Up with People offers 2 exciting summer sessions which are designed with the same Performing Arts and Global Citizenship focus. While each session is created to be enjoyed individually; the curriculum is intentionally bridged to be experienced consecutively as well.

$3,850.00 single session (3 weeks)

Our enrollment page and enter your Camper Information.

You will continue through and register your camper for the appropriate session/s. A registration fee of $375.00 will be required at the time of enrollment. All camper families should sign up for the monthly installments, DO NOT choose the pay in full now option as the appropriate discounts will not be applied.  With the monthly payment, the remaining amount due will be automatically charged to the card on file on May 1 and June 1. All payments must be made in full by June 1. Please call our Customer Service team with any questions.
